The Department of the Local and Interior Government (DILG) and the Anti-Drug Abuse Council – Project Management Office (ADAC-PMO) confers Valenzuela City with the 2018 National Anti-Drug Abuse Council Performance Award at the Manila Hotel, December 28, 2018. The award is in recognition of the city government’s exemplary efforts in complementing the national government’s anti-illegal drug campaign and in garnering a score of 100 functionality points during the conduct of 2017 ADAC Performance Audit.

The ceremony was attended by Valenzuela City Anti-Drug Abuse Council Action Officer Atty. Bimbo dela Cruz, Chief-of-staff Uly Aguilar, Valenzuela Regional Trial Court Executive Judge Maria Nena Santos, DILG – Valenzuela City Director Mary Jane SE Nacario, Valenzuela City Public Information Officer Lauro Zyan Caiña, Hannah Rose Francisco from the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), Drug Dependency Evaluator Physician Dr. Dondy Marasigan from the City Health Department, Philippine National Police – Valenzuela City Chief PSSUPT David Nicolas Poklay and City Prosecutor Lemuel Nobleza.
